Web Developer Extraordinairre
Our new team member will ideally:
- have at least a few years of PHP development experience
- understand and profess web standards
- be able to create, edit, refactor, maintain and troubleshoot CSS
- know how to integrate AJAX, JS frameworks, to improve usability
- be comfortable developing JS functionality from scratch
- work productively and effectively multitask (tough combo, we know!)
- learn quickly, read a lot, write some, and teach us new things
If we are having a really good day, you will also:
- have worked with content management systems
- be ready to dive into becoming a bona fide expert in our preferred CMS (ez.no)
Initial responsibilities will include:
- upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing projects
- developing new functionality for our CMS-based websites
- working with our development team to code templates and functionality for new projects
Local talent that can work from our downtown Tallahassee office would be nice, but remote work arrangements are possible given the right circumstances. Let us know what would make you most valuable to our team.
