Capital Health Plan is a federally qualified, local non-profit health maintenance organization (HMO) created in 1982 to provide comprehensive and coordinated medical care for a fixed, prepaid fee with predictable copayments and no deductibles. CHP is focused solely on serving the area surrounding Tallahassee, providing coverage to more than 125,000 members.
For their 30th Anniversary, NCQA Top-Ranked HMO Capital Health Plan came to us to update the design of their website as a well-deserved, long overdue birthday present. We focused on improving the usability all-around and restructuring some of the content while creating a friendly yet professional look. The design incorporates several areas to cross-promote programs and products, many different templates in which to display content, and a robust calendar interface to share events with customers and the general public. 'Twas a happy birthday indeed.
